COVID Vaccination Event

 St. Louis, MO, July 15, 2021 – Timothy Lutheran Church is pleased to partner with the St. Louis County Department of Public Health to offer free COVID-19 vaccinations from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 18, 2021.  They will be offering the Pfizer and Johnson and Johnson vaccine The vaccinations will be administered at Timothy Lutheran Church and walk-ins are welcome.Timothy is working with the Department of Public Health to encourage everyone aged 12 and older in the community who haven’t been vaccinated to take advantage of this opportunity. The COVID-19 vaccines are safe, highly effective and free. “We are scheduling this event on a Sunday to accommodate all those who might be unable to get vaccinated on other days due to work obligations,” said Andrew Dinger, Senior Pastor of Timothy.  Childcare will be provided while you get your vaccination.  “We want to help promote the health and safety of our community during the rise of the Delta variant that is ravaging our community.  The more people that can get vaccinated, the more protection we can bring to those at greatest risk,” Dinger said.St. Louis County is seeing an increase in new COVID-19 cases at this time, a trend largely attributed to the emergence of the highly contagious Delta variant. Vaccines are the best tool to defeat COVID, and the Department of Public Health is committed to providing vaccinations in neighborhoods throughout the County.
