We serve the Vietnamese of St. Louis.

Following a successful first try in spring, Pastor Chau and Kari are translating the Advent devotions from Lutheran Hour Ministries into Vietnamese (with permission) and making them available for free download anywhere in the world at the new website, Thuongde.org.

Pastor Chau is also reading them aloud on YouTube every day of Advent—his channel can be found at https://www.youtube.com/@PastorChauVo   Last spring, with no advertising but word of mouth, we had more than 40 downloads and up to 270 viewers each day of the devotional videos. Most of these were people in Vietnam, which means we’re almost certainly reaching quite a few non-Christians. Talk to us if you’d like to learn more!

Please pray for us as we try to do this again, starting November 30 or so. Pray for the technology to work well and for us to get things right as we film and work with computers. Pray that God will help the right people come across these materials and come to faith in Jesus, our Savior and theirs.
