Mahjong is a tile-based game that was developed in the 19th century in China and has spread throughout the world. Similar to the Western card game rummy, mahjong is a game of skill, strategy, and luck with the added benefits of social connection and cognitive stimulation! Two LASM volunteers and Mahjong enthusiasts, Aimee and Charlene are offering a series of sessions to learn and play the game.

Please join the fun on Wednesdays, July 2, 9, 16 and 23 at 1:30pm in Memorial Hall of Southwest Baptist Church at 6401 Scanlan Avenue. Cool summer refreshments will be provided. Need not attend all sessions to participate, but we will try to build upon our skills from week to week. With questions or to RSVP contact Charlene at charlenewall700@gmail.com or 636-498-9255.
