It’s now been four days since the storm, and the needs in our community are growing every day. Just last night, another thunderstorm rolled through, causing even more damage for those without shelter. For many, the rain has become a constant reminder of the hardship they are facing. While we can’t help everyone, we are committed to doing everything we can to assist as many people as possible.
We are incredibly grateful for the support we’ve already received—from donations, to physical help, to the countless hours spent in service. But the truth is, the work is far from over. The damage to our city is estimated at over one billion dollars, and we are only beginning to see the full extent of the destruction. To continue to support those in need, we are asking for recurring gifts. These gifts will allow us to provide consistent and long-term care, ensuring that we can serve our community throughout the recovery process.
We trust in God’s provision, and we are reminded in Philippians 4:19: "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We know that He will continue to guide us through this difficult time and help us serve His people.
Thank you again for your generosity. Your continued support makes a world of difference to those in need, and we are honored to serve alongside you.
In Christ’s love,
Rev. Dr. Gerard Bolling
