Salem Lutheran's Christmas Cantata

Salem’s Music Ministry will present the 2025 Christmas Cantata Glory to the Newborn King! on Saturday, December 20th at 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, December 21st at 8:00 and 10:30 a.m. This choral presentation will be performed by Salem’s Parish Choir,  under the direction of Mr. John Wittmayer,  with narrations by Pastor Wayne Huebner and Pastor Chris Hill. Additional music of the season will be presented by Salem’s Parish Handbells, also under the direction of Mr. John Wittmayer. Live Nativity

Ascension is excited to host our Live Nativity each year!  As our St. Louis Hills neighborhood becomes a premier place for looking at Christmas lights, Ascension has the opportunity to share the Light of Christ and proclaim our Savior’s birth to our community.

The live nativity will feature costumed characters, story boards highlighting Christmas Bible readings, radio broadcast, live animals, multiple angel choirs, a star-like spotlight, and cookies with hot chocolate.

The date for this year’s live nativity is Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
