Acolytes
Children in grades 3-8 serve in worship services by lighting and extinguishing the candles as well as serving as crucifer during processionals. Contact: Mary Anne Rall
Altar Guild Volunteers serve for a one month period, arranging altar flowers weekly, filling liquid candles and changing paraments as needed (seasonal). Contact: Mary Anne Rall
Community Outreach
- Easter Egg Hunt: Yearly Easter Egg Hunt held at Lindenwood Park. Everyone in the congregation as well as the neighborhood is invited for an afternoon of hunting eggs, face painting and crafts.
- Vacation Bible School: Bible School meets every evening for one week during the summer. Open to all preschoolers through 6th graders in the congregation and the neighborhood. Thematic Bible Study including crafts and snacks!
English as Second Language Class ESL class meets every Monday from 7-8 p.m. Free. Contact: Belva Winters

Greeters Volunteers greet people as they enter the church before worship services on Sunday morning, with special attention given to visitors. Contact: Church Office, 314-781-8673
Immigrant and Refugee Ministries
- Timothy cooperates with Christian Friends of New Americans and the Peace Center in aiding newly arrived immigrants and refugees with obtaining housing, household goods, jobs, transportation, education, and the like.

- Vietnamese outreach. Worship service and Bible class held every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. in the Vietnamese Chapel.

Lectors/Readers Lectors are responsible for reading the Old Testament and Epistle readings during the worship service. Lectors are usually assigned one service per month. Contacts: Pastor Rall and Pastor Wilson, 314-781-8673
Lutheran Women in Mission Open to all women. Supports mission projects inside and outside of the congregation. Meets the first Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room. Contacts: Pat Diehl and Sue Thomas
Medical Equipment Provides medical equipment (walkers, wheel chairs, canes, etc.) to members of the congregation and the wider community at no cost. Contact: Greg Lupone
Men's Morning Fellowship The Men's Morning Fellowship meets every Tuesday at 6:30 a.m. at St Louis Bread Co (6607 Chippewa St.). It is sponsored by Timothy and Concordia Lutheran Churches. Mother’s Day Out Child development program with Christian emphasis. Open to all children in the congregation and community, ages two to five; operates Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. Call for fees and enrollment information. Contact: Kathy Carr
Music
- Adult choir: Open to anyone, high school age and above. Rehearsals on Wednesday evening from 7-8:15 p.m. The Choir usually sings on the second and fourth Sundays of each month.

- Handbells: Open to anyone, grade 7 and above. Rehearsals on Wednesday evening from 6:15-7:00 p.m. No experience necessary. Rings on the first Sunday of each month during communion in the 8 a.m. service and before the 10:45 a.m. service.

- Maranatha (blended/contemporary) group: Sings on the third Sunday of each month. Practices on the two Thursdays preceding the third Sunday from 7-9 p.m. Open to all who love to sing and/or play an instrument.

Senior Care
- Lindenwood Area Senior Ministries: Joint ministry of Timothy Lutheran, Epiphany of Our Lord Catholic, Mt. Tabor United Church of Christ, Union Methodist and Southwest Baptist churches. Serves seniors in the Lindenwood Park Neighborhood.

- Tuesday Communion: Worship service on the 4th Tuesday of each month, open to everyone. Transportation provided to those who can’t attend church regularly. Service followed by fellowship in the Multi-Purpose Room.

Students/Youth
- Confirmation: Study of Luther’s Small Catechism in preparing for Confirmation (7th and 8th graders). Meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays from 3:30-5 p.m., September to April, in the Multi-Purpose Room.

- Junior Youth Group: Open to 7th and 8th graders. Meets each Sunday in the Junior Youth Room from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Many opportunities for Bible study, fellowship and service.

- College Support Group: Sends care packages and devotional materials two or three times a year to college students studying away from home, in an attempt to keep the connection with Timothy, their home congregation.

- Depression Support Group: Meets the 1st Sunday of each month from 9:30-10:30 a.m.

A confidential caring ministry for those who are going through troubled times. Contact: Nanette Dost
TASK (Tuition Assistance for School Kids) Open to anyone who wants to work at concession stands at baseball, football, and hockey games, as well as other venues, to contribute to scholarships toward tuition or other Lutheran ministries. Contact: Tiffany Wohlstadter
Technical Support Team Operates power point and sound board during worship services. Training provided; no experience necessary. Volunteers usually serve once or twice a month. Contact: Mary Anne Rall
Transportation Drivers needed to provide transportation for those who have no way to attend worship services. Substitute drivers also needed to transport immigrants to school on weekdays. Contact: Church Office, 314-781-8673
Ushers Ushers are “on duty” during a service (about once a month) to distribute bulletins, give directions as necessary, facilitate communion distribution, and generally just be available to help with peoples’ needs. Contact: Brian Rush
